- Make sure to put a sign on your door on window that says you welcome trick or treating
- To be on the safe side, wear gloves when handing out any lollies
- Only buy bags of individually wrapped lollies
- Avoid letting kids grab lollies, instead place them in the bag for them with gloves on or tongs

- Avoid touching your face
- Carry hand sanitiser with you and use it consistently, especially after ringing doorbells and knocking on doors
- Practice social distancing of 1.5metres away from others at all times
