It’s that time of year again where neighbourhoods come to life, the streets are illuminated by a spectacular array of lights, and the spirit of Christmas is alive and kicking.

Let’s not forget about the spirit of competitiveness. Amongst all the joy and giving, each year contestants come together for the battle of Perth’s best Christmas lights.

Families from as south as Mandurah will travel to as far as Joondalup to witness and judge what they think is Perth’s most lit display of lights.

Now, before you go and drive 45 minutes to some of last year’s location and end up in a dark and lifeless culdesac (Yes, we found out the hard way), it’s important to remember that these locations can change.

To help you plan the perfect Christmas lights lineup, we’ve created a list of some of Perth’s best Christmas Lights and events of 2019 for you and the kids.

Narrien Loop, Hocking

Consulate Court, Thornlie

Dates: 1st – 31st December

Times: 7:30pm – 10:30pm

Arguably one of our most favourite displays of Christmas lights is Consulate Court, a small culdesac that’s tucked away deep in the burbs of Thornlie.

As soon as the sun goes down the entire cultersac explodes to life, illuminating the night sky with an amazing display of colours, gigantic inflatable santas, Christmas trees, animated statues and so much more.

If you’re looking for a totally immersive Christmas lights experience for you and the kids, make sure to check out Consulate Court this year.
